Information We Collect
When you submit an estimate request, the website collects your name, required phone number, phone type, text-message preference, and project details. An email address is optional. Project information may include the city, ZIP code or county, flooring and product details, approximate project size, scheduling preferences, project description, existing flooring, subfloor information, whether the home is occupied, furniture or appliance considerations, and planning-tool context that you choose to carry into the request.
Please do not submit highly sensitive information through the estimate form, including financial account information, government identification numbers, medical information, passwords, or other confidential credentials.
How We Use Information
Appalachian Home Worx uses submitted information to review the project, respond to the submitted inquiry, communicate by phone or optional email about that project, discuss the requested work, clarify product or site details, prepare and communicate project information, and maintain reasonable business records.
If you give permission to receive text messages about an estimate request, you may withdraw that permission by replying STOP or by directly asking Appalachian Home Worx to stop texting you.
Submitting an estimate request starts the project-review process. Scheduling and final pricing are confirmed separately.
Website Visit Context Used With Estimate Requests
The website may use first-party session storage to remember limited visit context during the current browser session, such as the first page visited, the referring website's hostname, and campaign labels included in links such as UTM parameters. This information is used to help Appalachian Home Worx understand how an estimate request reached the website and may be submitted with the request if you choose to send the form.
This session context does not use a cross-session identifier, does not store the full path of an external referring page, and is not used by Appalachian Home Worx to assign aggregate Google Search Console queries to individual visitors. The website does not add third-party analytics through this feature.
Netlify Website and Form Services
This website is hosted using Netlify. Estimate-form submissions are processed and stored using Netlify’s website and form services so Appalachian Home Worx can receive, review, and respond to requests. Netlify may process submitted information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Sharing and Sale of Information
Appalachian Home Worx does not sell information submitted through the website.
Information may be disclosed to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the website, process and store form submissions, deliver notifications, maintain business records, or respond to a request. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the operation of the website and business.
Security and Retention
Reasonable steps are used to protect submitted information, but no website, storage system, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to review and respond to the request, maintain appropriate business records, resolve issues, or meet applicable obligations. No fixed retention period is stated because one has not been approved.
